Vegas Downtown
The dealer must hit on a soft-17, a player’s blackjack beats anything, doubling is available after being dealt your first two cards (without restriction) and you can split up to a total of three times. Insurance is available, surrendering is not. The game is played with two decks.
Double Exposure
Eight decks are used and the dealer’s first two cards are instantly revealed (hence the term ‘double exposure’), making it easier for you to make a decision. However, the payout for blackjack is even money (not 3:2), the dealer must hit a soft-17, and wins all ties except for a blackjack ties, in which case the player wins. European rules apply when doubling (only double if first two cards total nine, 10 or 11) and splitting is allowed a maximum of three times.
Pontoon Gold
Pontoon Gold is played with eight decks of 52 cards and you can only bet on one hand at a time. The dealer is dealt two face-down cards and there is no insurance available.
Atlantic City
Also played with eight standard decks of 52 cards, you can double down on your first two cards (regardless of what they are) and split up to a total of four hands. Aces can only be split once, and must stand once each receives an additional card. The dealer can peek at his hole card if his up-card shows an Ace or a card valued at 10. Insurance is available, as is late surrender.
Spanish 21
Spanish 21 is played with eight unique decks of 48 playing cards where the four 10 cards in each deck have been discarded. You obtain blackjack when your hand contains an Ace and a card with a value of ten, and this hand cannot be beaten.
Progressive Apps
Also available are blackjack progressives such as Triple 7’s Blackjack, where you must place a side-bet which gives you the chance to win the increasing bonus payout. Five regular decks are used and the dealer stands on all hands worth 17. Insurance is offered and you can only split matching cards (can’t split a King and a Jack). Doubling is allowed only on hard totals of nine, 10 and 11. The following are the typical bonus payouts for their respective hands (bonus payouts are paid regardless of whether you win or lose you hand):
- A single Seven in the hand – pays 5:1
- A pair of unsuited Sevens – pays 25:1
- A suited pair of Sevens – pays 50:1
- The payout for triple Sevens in one hand depends on the casino, but if you draw three Sevens in the suit of Diamonds, you automatically win the current progressive jackpot total.
